I don’t want to discourage you but this has been asked for, for years now. And to this day, they still choose to not add these hairstyles and probably never will. These types of things just don’t reach Square Enix unless it has 900+ upvotes like the Male Viera thread.

People have been asking for these hairstyles for years... Yoshi (allegedly, based on what I heard) said he would implement them if there were a high demand, and there is. I'm not sure what's taking them so long, it's making me wonder if SE are severely understaffed. They would make so much money if they made these mogstation hairstyles, it just feels like bringing in new items/hairstyles are just too slow. -

Issue probably lies in the weights or clipping. Even with modded hair, you get a lot of instances where long hair just clips into your gear and when you run it swings side to side in a really unattractive manner. It's not super natural at all. I would think they might have to adjust how they make hair in general which could be holding them back, especially since people tend to scream about anything taking time away from content development.

I really want more hair for my viera... specially hythlodaeu's hairstyle! I hope that going forwards the hairstyles they release are added for viera by default! It would also be really cool to have separate dye channels on gear, but I think that would be really hard since they would have to rework past gear...

Also maybe if they're too inflexible and cut through the character model in some poses, though I thought I've seen people saying that's already an issue for Viera.
