Clown outfit yet viera+hroth can't wear the NOSE? Are you serious right now?

It's not really about what can't be worn, it's about being left in the dust for the 412902140141th time. I'm not really mad or upset. Just...disappointed that this continues to be a thing. I don't particularly care for feeling punished just for playing a specific race, as much as I like Hrothgar.

Can Viera/Hroth at least wear the clown face paint?

Yeh, I mean, they could've even just made the red nose and the hat separate reward items too, since it's the nose what makes a clown, not that generic top hat (if anything, that's more of a magician thing, but I digress).

They knew Hroth and Viera wouldn't be able to wear it, yet deliberately chose to ignore them yet again

Facepaint, yes. I can't remember the last time we got a facepaint reward, so maybe this was their way of trying to appease the Viera/Hrothgar crowds :P

They are limited races, and there seems to be zero incentive from the dev team to fix it. They hyped up new hairstlyes for Viera with 6.0 just for it to be only 6 new ones. I have no doubt that Hrothgar will get the same half-assed "improvements" with 6.1, and that Hrothgals will be met with similar limitations.

I definitely won't accept it. I'm sure it'd be nice for them if everyone did just accept it. If people did, I doubt they'd even have the handful of styles they got or will be getting. Until viera/hrothgar are treated as an actual addition to the game, instead of a novelty, I don't think people should accept the state they are in.

We should lock out Lalafels from equiping the head and nose too. Its way to scary.

Right now playing as viera feels like playing a blue mage. I understand some people not getting why would we be mad about not wearing a hat or certain hairstyles, but cosmetics are such a big part of the game that you have a very big community dedicated just to it, and being excluded in a way from that just by playing the race you like really feels awful. Heck, I never wear headgear in other games, but in ffxiv with so many cool options I find myself wanting to put a hat on top of every look that I come up with, but I can't because of the limitations in place. Right now I'm thinking maybe they shouldn't have released viera if they were intended to be limited like this forever, it just doesn't make sense to me.

I absolutely hate that I have been robbed of my binky nose. I wanted to aggressively honk honk heenk heenk and hey kids with all of my friends, but alas. Here I am. Binkyless. Bozo, I'm not. Sigh. Maybe they'll hot fix us the nose later, but for now I'm using the Antlers because the Reindeer Antlers actually have a red nose on it too. The only downside is you can't hide the Antlers part so it's a bit silly. but I suppose silly is the point for now. For NOW. I still fully expect my Pennywise nose eventually!!

Viera can wear the Reaper hat and the ushanka from Endwalker. It's obviously at this stage that the devs can toggle hats for V&H, they just don't want to.
