1. A light element focused mage dps class. We got a light tank and light healer, would like a light dps. We are often called the warrior of light, but we only really use light in in tanking and healing currently. Mayber exorcist or something, make them some hidden order founded to combat voidsent during the War of the Magi. Using white purification flames and golden/white spells like banish sound pretty cool.
2. expansion of the companion system. One way could be maybe through beast master limited job or something. Another way could be perhaps bring back the path companion system with a more customizable NPC partner that can be different jobs and we level those jobs by bringing them out with us. (Heck for the RPers maybe even have different spots we can go to (kind of like in the new feature for EW we have spots like that for when named NPCs follow us during the msq) for dialogue with romance options -as well as platonic options for those not interested in romance- since there has been a demand for romancable NPCs) ie. perhaps we could take them to H's grave and get dialogue about it, or Rhalgar's reach, etc. It could be fun exploring old and new areas tracking down hidden dialogue locations and bonding with our support NPC in a way that we the player want to.
3. a combat arena for 4-man groups that is kind of like a horde mode where waves of enemies keep appearing and the goal is to clear as many waves as possible and survive as long as possible. Add random buffs you can pick up as you go through so many waves with a boss every so many waves with mechanics those players need to follow. Have a point system in place with cosmetic rewards that can be purchased with said points. The idea being getting the buffs that best suit your job, and the reward system as is so that even lesser skilled players can get cosmetics, they will just have to grind longer. Throw in a leader board showing the teams who got the highest score and a reset every week or month to keep people coming back for bragging rights. Even better if players can make a team name themselves. lol

1) I would wish that achievements, FC-membership, friend lists, gil, housing, mentor status, retainers, retainer and saddlebag inventory, glamour storage, and object binding were all ACCOUNT BOUND rather than character bound. Whereas MSQ progress, GC-progress, squadrons, race choice, character look and name, and actual classes would stay character bound.
I like having alts. I don't see why this needs to be in conflict with being able to play multiple classes on one character. For an alt fan, it's not about playing multiple classes, it's about playing multiple characters.
Why not a system that offers and benefits both styles of play.
2) Chocobo barding useable on the black chocobo.
3) a melee healer class - that needs to do melee attacks and maybe even positionals to heal.

1) Attacks dismount, talking to NPCs doesn't.

Would be neat if sprint did not drop off after switching jobs.

- Refreshing old fates, leves and possibly even side quests to give better exp for alt jobs, maybe also currency for fates like the current ones have.
- Refresh Grand Company - sort the gear better, copy paste missing items DoW/DoM wise, maybe add some scaling to it when doing alt jobs etc.
- Refresh old instances and replace outdated mechanics markers so that so people don't run away with modern stack marker later on :D
- Re-do Tower, Coils, Westwind, Castrum and Prae into something better to run, so a simpler mode for coils, less cutscenes/brainded mobs for other.
- Alter roulettes a bit maybe? 50-80 is limited while Leveling can give you from Sastasha up to 89. Maybe one "high level instance" and "sprout in need" ?
- Less limits on currencies, like poetics...
- Look at ways to differentiate expansion current mastery gear crafts from other crafts and easier catchup gear crafts (some system that does require time, thought to then craft an item with like crafter-selected stats or alike)
- Set bonuses or semi-job for open world mob harvesting and or fates farming (say lower ilvl or lower dungeon items that give some bonuses at the expense of pure player power).
- Cleanup some jobs like freecure on WHM ;)

I only have one, single request:
Make the "Equip Recommended Gear" button also equip your job crystal if you're playing a job that has a base class.
The amount of times I've entered roulettes as a level 50+ Gladiator is embarrassing.
