I loved it. It was one of the highlights of the MSQ.
I loved it. It was one of the highlights of the MSQ.
I enjoyed it. There are other things I enjoy less but I can't skip because most stuff is gated in various ways. So I dunno, everyone is different.
I enjoyed it, the atmosphere of the duty as you go through it enhanced the experience I had with the story from that point onwards. Also, gave a taste of the various hardships the untempered Garleans have to endure in order to survive in their burnt out home.
If I struggled with it and found it annoying, I would've just selected the "Very Easy" option and blown through it.
SE's fixation on time-limiting everything that moves made this the nightmare it is, SE KNOW time-limiting ratchets up anxiety in players who need time to think and serves no useful purpose whatsoever other than to do just that. It's unnecessary and player-hostile design, which infests this game in many places where is just don't belong.
Oh, and "The struggle might be painful but that just makes the reward that much sweeter at the end" for you maybe, for me it's "relief that that loathsome content is over".
The time limiting didn't bother me. I couldn't even see the timer on my screen at first.
Initially when I played through it I was like "I don't like this", but once I finished it and thought back on it.....Ya it was fantastic and accomplished what it set out to do.
The people who complained about this quest being to hard were probably people who couldn't even complete a 1-2-3 combo. Not going to even sugar coat it.
I liked it. I enjoyed it :)
I loved it for the MSQ reasons they did it, and i came to appreciate it even more after i finished it, funny enough i didnt even notice the timer until the last minite before the magitek exploded and we had to crawl, cause i was still shocked with how accurately they did the quest, garleans cant use aether so we had no proper abilities or healing etc. I wish they do stealthy stuff like that and Thancreds more.
