You really should not make assumptions because you are wrong. Would I have been bent if they delayed release until next year, yeah I would've. But I wouldn't have been a child about it. I'm the type of person who would rather go without for awhile then get something in a "broken" state. You seem to be far more ok with the way things are is all.

Hmm. But the queue times are the only thing currently wrong. Isn't the cumulative wait time for those queues less than the several months (or more) you'd have to wait for new servers? And if you cannot play at all until the queue times get better because of your schedule, you'd be waiting for that either way. At least this way many/most people, those who are able to wait out the queues, can play now.

Depends on how many more months of queues your gonna have to deal with. We're in a queueception it seems.

But, had they delayed the release, you would be waiting, anyway. The difference is, for most people, there is less waiting to play with queues than there would've been had the entire release been delayed. If you are for a delay to avoid queues, delay it for yourself (i.e. wait until queues are better)

I got home at 4pm PST today. queue of 3800. I was in by 6:30pm. Playing since, no DC's, no lag, no issues. Been like that since launch for me. I've got 2 battle jobs to 90 and 3 gatherers.

queues happen on launches, so thats expected and I am okay with that, the errors, I havent had any since their last login server update.

like you, I log in and play, daily.

so... are there issues, yes, are they game breaking? no

If they didn't launch at all then people still couldn't play Endwalker. Now at least a lot of people can.

Yes you are.

The shortage has been going on for over a year - even before COVId made it worse.

SE already planned on upgrading servers months in advance but due the shortage those plans are on hold. Then there's the huge WoW Exodus which pushed it far above their predictions for player growth.

You not understanding this is why you aren't in charge of such things.
