What's interesting about it? Why would I want to give up my anima to get GC currency?

As per starlord, I'd rather see GC seals being awarded simply for participating in the defense for the hamlet that matches your company.

Yep Your right, Just let Anima do its thing, and hopfully they will put in more stuff to get in the Hamlet defense! 7 more days till 1.22a there's going to be quite a few things in that patch =)

It would be a choice, so far there is hardly any choices needed to be made in this game....

anima needs to be only used for teleports! no trade ins, not seals, currency,etc. An idea thats not to hard for SE to make happen is allow poeple to buy lets call it Aetheryte shard or stone, you can thus use this at any Aetheryte Crystal or gate and teleport where ever u please and party members also that are in range just like normal anima warp.

Or maybe just make it so once you buy the aetheryte stone/shard you regen anima right then and their instead of using up inventory space and using it only at aetheryte crystals or gates like i just said. And SE could make a reasonable gil sink from this example maybe 1k-2k per item, and you're able to hold 99 in your inventory.

its good hamlet defense gives some anima reward, but this would help out just a bit more considering the slow regen of anima just over time.

That's being pretty closed minded if you think anima needs to stay within just teleporting.

If they wanted to they could make this system really complex and interesting. oh wait, people here don't like complex things.

Anima doesn't need to be complex and very interesting, you should just use it to get from a to b. Its better if SE use time & resoucres to develop content thats complex and interesting not teleport warp.

Arguing with Rokien is like arguing with a brick wall, except the brick wall can eventually be convinced.

You know, I honestly think there is a novel idea to be found in this. Perhaps not a 'currency', but I can see it having additional uses. What if it were a power source of sorts? Imagine bits of the world that required anima to get to, beyond simply teleporting? Perhaps using it to power an elevator or other piece of machinery (magitek armor?)? If we are going to be stuck with it, I wouldn't mind seeing it used in more creative ways

Thank you, that's what I'm saying, they should come up with creative ways for other uses for anima. Especially if they are starting to give it out now. I mean really, how often do you guys use anima now because of the two warps, me? I use like 6 tops a day of activity.
