At least there are some people out there still facing the actual fight. Most of the community has shown that when given the choice between a fun challenge and a free loot button they push the button every time.

Not enough dragoon stacking imo
I'm pretty happy to see this myself, as our LS is a big fan of multi job/class strats.
The best Garuda video I've seen thus far, amazing job.
Absolutely made my day.
Can't say it enough. This just proves that if you learn the mechanics of the fight it can be done just as easily as brute forcing it with some kind of all out burn Garuda to the ground tactic. That video made this strat look just as easy. Congrats to that group for sure!
Now we just need other people to see this, rather than the most over used phrase I have seen "BG's strat is the best" I was actually told once (this is serious) "DRG and MNK are useless for Garuda, BG's strat is the best way to go" (paraphrase, but it has the important part in).
Knowing how to play your job > stacking BLM and BRD for everything.
This type of stratagy shows these are better players than the people who come up with the stacking stratagies, GoGo JP ls, Oh and inb4 JP BUTTON!!!!!!!
This is a problem I have with both the FFXI and FFXIV community. They always believe one way is the only way. It has been like that since the FFXI days on major boss fights. It is a lot worse in FFXIV however. Not once (and not saying I am better) have I seen people use diverse parties to defeat a primal/dungeon.
While you can pin some blame on SE for making some ridiculous conditions for these fights, they are not impossible to pass. Simply having skill and experienced WHM's can get anything done in this game.
Unfortunately this is true, I went to CC last night, the leader who I will not name, said to me before we started to gather "If we do CC and you might beable to come DRG", when we gather I say I am going DRG I get told "best to go BLM first to learn then we can see about DRG" I then reply "how am I supposed to learn to play DRG in there on BLM" it was only then that I was allowed to go DRG, and I compromised by swapping to BLM for Chimera.
I have to add that this was my 2nd run of CC (I know I know) but I stand by what I say about people going what they want unless a certain class (normally tank or healer) is needed.
