2.0 QUESTION thread

If we can generate a buzz and get over 100 likes by the end of Golden Week, I think we have a chance of getting some Dev love!

Recently, many servers have gotten enough people together to defeat one of the epic "Guardian's of the Grove." Actually, I particularly like this one. While I didnt participate, it reminds me of the Sleeper from the original EQ. Required the entire server to kill. Something that big, would need to be like Atlas from XIII. And I'm all for that.

Like if there was a special sandy beach area in Thanalan that had awesome 45+ xp camps, great gathering spots, a couple sidequests associated with it and even a dungeon entrance


Only problem is there is a very large sinkhole with a huge Sandworm blocking the way....
Once he is beaten though, the zone is open for 2 weeks before he respawns again....

Beating him requires at least 80+ people @ lvl 50 going open world "Guardian of the Grove" style

It would be cool if every 2 weeks, an army of adventurers set out to destroy the sandworm!

He should also'Bind' and then swallow players (small AOE) -- do 9999 damage to them -- and then spit them back out with all their gear durability reduced to 0.

Maybe it would telegraph the move a bit so some have a chance to get away - (eg FFXI Ultima Weapon's Citadel Buster)

I like it...

I like the idea of him being EPIC hard.... And sense the reward is something that benefits the entire server (the zone being unlocked) then no one is going to complain about an open world 80 man coordinated zerg
