I think it's a really cool concept, it just seems to single out us single target DDs once more. It's not really a fault in the actual concept rather is it a fault in the instancing. Also I've only tried it a couple of times. Gonna give it a few more whirls before I form a solid opinion on Hamlet Defense. It is really fun, though.

I think I agree, I'm not willing to invest in yet ANOTHER 100 year grind to get the item I want. Let me earn that item and SEE actually progress. Spending "currency" earned by supply runs and taking part in the battle, now that is an Idea I can get behind.

I would like to see company seals as rewards. Fireworks are awesome, but not like 5 times in a row.. :(

How about this:

During Preparation Phase (50 hours), if the Rating went up everyone will be eligible for a slight discount on Cluster, Peacock Ore and Coke in that specific Hamlet, until the end of the following Battle Phase (25 hours). Rating 1 gives 5% discount, Rating 2 gives 10% discount etc. In addition, expand the Hamlet trader content to include region exclusive item to give incentive for raising all Hamlet rating.

During Battle Phase (25 hours), if you succeed in defend the Hamlet once, you are eligible for bonus to Gathering for a specific class (Hyrstmill -> Botanist, LL Hamlet -> Fishing, Uldah Hamlet -> Mining). For example Rating 1 win will give you 2.5% bonus on Perception up to 3 limit and 5% extra EXP from gathering, rating 2 win give you 5% bonus on Perception up to 6 limit and 10% extra EXP from gathering. This buff last until the end of the next Preparation Phase (50 hours).

Does the level reset every resert period?
Will those who are #1/#2/#3 on the supplying list tend to stay up there (if there is no reset)?

That's going to be a LOT Of gil being dumped to raise it to level 2 all the time.... not to mention 3 or 4... I'm not sure how long we will be willing to dump gil in. (At least, as a DoH/DoL who makes/gathers things to donate).

since everyones just gonna farm what they need to do it


just going off what happened this time and how pretty much NOTHING went for sale anywhere, itl probly go with that trend



theres also the fact you get an achievemnt for drops up to 10,000 turnins

Today it is still new content so a lot of people will supply for high level.

from next month onward, I don't think we will ever have enough supply rate to have lv 2/ lv 3.
