I am not expecting much from this or even next years seasonal events. From what I understand, theyre some of the last things the devs get to with content. And yeah expects covids delays and such to linger fairly long while... not to mention getting EW out is top priority for Devs.
At least i'm honest about it :)
I don't read latin so no idea what that means.
Edit: Maybe you should quote the whole sentence instead of making it look worse than what the intent was. That's lowkey disingenuous.
That's right. I didn't say it was. However we have recieved glamour pieces in the past and we're used to getting minions though.
I think most people would agree that not getting a minion is sad. Rather than getting a recolored umbrella.
So what I said (the whole much longer reason as to why the 1.0 players threw said fit) is what you said but it is not what you said as I didn't take anything out... interesting if I misread it then I did but you know how the internet is with out expanding on it people can read things differently as opposed to speaking to someone to hear vocal inflections.
I understand your frustration, I think you are 100% entitled to your opinion. There is people already agreeing with you, so you're not alone.
I myself just feel 100% indifferent to anyone's distress over too few event trinkets.
Would you have preferred "The quick brown fox..." instead? I just needed characters as filler for character limit.
You do realize we had better event rewards during all of covid last year than this year? Sorry, it's not an excuse anymore. Literally, one hour of their time to make a glamour or a new emote is not asking for much.
At least don't shove new Mogstation items up at the same time that you neuter content meant for players to get free glamour, minions, emotes, etc.
I love the devs and appreciate them a lot, but we're customers.
Something I've never understood among gaming communities is the idea that games are some sort of special favor or gift that developers give to us that we must be grateful for. So many other gaming companies put in almost as much work and are hardly looked at because of the larger games. They struggle and die without even being noticed, taking jobs and hopes with them. Being a top game is a privilege you should earn. With any other product in real life, if the quality drops the customer finds something else.
As long as people aren't rude or abusive towards the developers, there is no shame in being disappointed. It's not entitled. It's quite the opposite, when you're disappointed but have enough faith to leave feedback and keep paying them your money. Players who complain with legitimate feedback but continue to play are what keep games alive. The "positive" crowd who will never highlight legitimate issues and the silent leavers are the ones that kill games.
I figured it was something like that since I've been using lorem ipsum dummy text in my line of work but that's about it what is recognizable in latin - for me at least.
I haven't really thought of it that way but you're hitting the nail I'd say. Good insight.
Why do you play one, just to RP? (given your name)
