You could have used the blacklist function on line 2 and end the convo permanently. You didn't, because you wanted something to report.

This was on 7/10/2021. I have not votekicked in over a year, or witnessed one in half a year. What conclusion can I possibly draw from that? What could I possibly hide that would make sense here? The only things I leave out are 'here are chat logs of dozens upon dozens of incidents.

Not point harping on what is done. Just for the record as someone who votes kick many for a plethora of reasons just do not say anything regarding the action in game. If on the off chance a GM comes to you regarding the removal just say it was a difference of play styles and ask them to prove the claim it was invalid if they keep pushing the issue.

This is what happened with me about a year ago when I removed someone from the group.

Unfortunately, this is a significant problem in FFXIV. I've managed to get someone banned in the past for making comments very similar to those you received, but they were unbanned within 3 days and continued to stalk me in stealthier ways that allowed them to evade further punishment. Their character is still active to this day, despite literally threatening to find my address and dismember me, along with repeatedly admitting to buying gil in the same conversation.

These types of people are largely deriving enjoyment for your reaction to their behavior; Sadly the most effective way to get them to leave you alone is to just ignore them and kind of take the abuse without responding in any way. If you can go long enough without cracking, they will eventually get bored and leave you alone.
