The Gold Saucer could use a water park

That'd be fine. It doesn't need to be truly outdoors - just have some degree of sunbathing light. I'd most want it to have trees and stuff, though (albeit perhaps maintained in kind of an over-the-top way, since this is the Gold Saucer we're talking about).

I've actually been humming that stupid in-show commercial from King of the Hill to myself - the one where it's like "get wet, get wild, get cool, go bana~nassssss!" We have a small local water park here in the Pacific Northwest that almost has the same theme verbatim :P.

I feel like the GS could use an INN too, like the haunted hotel INN in FF7! Would be cool to hang there for the glamour dresser instead of capital cities.

Gold saucer needs SOMETHING for sure.
its not much of a casino, and nothing to do when you get all the stuff.

This could be pretty cool, it would be neat to see it on the outside below / around the saucer itself - to give the location more scale and physical placement in the world (that you could go outside of the facility). Would love an outdoors, on the saucers themselves, experience too though.. so.. that may as well be cool. Blitzball in one of the saucers would obviously be super fitting, some love the idea of that in this game others eye roll though lol (yet it 'has' been mentioned by SE a few times in passing xD).

In general, a water theme'd space could be quite neat. Theme'd spaces would be neat. I get this sort of Disney World theme park vibe, where they have different parks with a different flow, and I like that idea.
