Frankly, I couldn't care less.

Funny tho how in the beginning Asmon and his wow community have been feared by basically everyone.

A lot of people think Asmongold is Zack and vice versa. I'm very happy people are giving him a chance here to explain, as who he really is how his experience with the game has been.

It's also nice to hear someone noticing that it's not just the strict policing that's going on (which he actually appreciated it seems) but the way the game itself is designed not to create toxicity or foster frustration in it's players.


"Oh well, we wiped, res up and try again" VS "welp.. that's a wipe, see you #@($*$'s next week then".

It's a shame a ton of bad apples have tried to ruin his experience in game and tried to colour the community reaction out of game. I'm glad he's having a great time.

In addition, he really is right about buying the game. A few friends are hopping over and they all just bought endwalker and are confused that they don't have the game. I tried to explain it to them but they all agree (myself included) the process is silly.

Just have it so you get charged straight away for endwalker and it's applied to your account. none of this messing around!

TBF buying EW now is not much different from buying SL before it came out. That said, having to wait for a key is silly at this point.

What's really confusing is the starter vs complete vs Shadowbringers stuff.

What they should do is have two options:

Final Fantasy XIV (includes ARR>Stormblood)
Shadowbringers (is Shadowbringers)

Then when Endwalker is released, ShB rolls into the base game. So it's basically the reverse of what we have now, and I think would be a lot less confusing.

The people were also sure he wouldn't like ARR because there are too many fetch quests. :)

Its much much much better now, it takes like...maybe an hour and a half to download all the updates now

Not really. ShB is fine story-wise but can be lacking in stuff patch-wise, and I get it if someone didn't like it as much. General opinion is also usually "best story, but wish it had more".
