shit DOES happen. If you want your stuff call a GM. If you don't, keep complaining as it will accomplish nothing.

Spoke to GM, got a faster response than i thought I would. Had to list all items lost, but was so many.
spent 30 mins Listing every item i lost to GM, now told it could take a week or more to investigate. And might not get all my items back.
Rage logged. fuck that.
Years ago i was playing PSO EP.2 (Phantasy Star Online) I was fighting the 'last boss' and during mid fight i had gotten ported back to the ship. When i arrived there i had lost all my items in my inventory. Mind you in this game you farm monsters over and over again to get random weapons dropped, then taking them to a npc and have her evaluate it for you. She would give you certain stats with boosts to monster types, and accuracy.
Well I had been playing that game for a long time, 24/7, and had aquired a extremely vast arsenal of weapons. I had a Red Great Sword, Red Handgun, Mechguns, Slicers for every monster type. Each having over 150% dmg increase + acc boosts.
Among a few other RARE weapons, like a meteor cudgel, Falz claws (something like that).
So this left me extremely distraught, I had no idea how to get ahold of a GM, or anything for that matter. So i quit. Still to this day is upsets me that all my hard work disappeared in an instant.
Sorry for you lose, i hope you can rectify this matter easily. I hope a GM will help you out.
Are most of the AF gear, and event items attached to an achievement? If so that should only take a few min.
Never play on patch day.
A rule for every single MMO out there ><
I hope u get ur stuff back
I can understand your frustration I doubt anything is really lost though, you should be able to get it back.
Problems and errors can happen when playing video games. Humans are not perfect. just set aside your emitions and try to get help from support.
You need to understand that what happened to you is a radical extreme rare case- but if you ask for help, you might be able to get your stuff back.
Games will crash, games will have bugs. it's jsut something that will happen sometimes, so try to contain your anger. Nobody at Square Enix said, "oh, what can we do to make people miserable today? Oh, I know! let's delete somebody's items! That would do it!"
-edit-
Investigations can take a long time, especially if it's a brand new problem. The game's internal workings are not simple- it can take time to find the problem. I hope you're not misdirecting your rage at people who didn't cause your problem...
