[Request]: Show Us Which Duty Roulette Has Been Cleared By Which Party Members

The game tracks it already; the game knows if you've done a roulette for the day by preventing you from getting the roulette bonus more than once if you sign up for it multiple times in one day. The only actual coding that would need to be done is re-using the same coding that the savage clear check system uses to check weekly clears when the party leader sets 'duty completion', but change the flag to the one that keeps track of the daily roulette bonus. Could probably be done in like <1hr.

The actual question the devs would be asking looking at a request like this is, when its super easy for people to just say "I've done this roulette today" and talk with your party members, what purpose does this feature really serve?

Pretty sure they didn't actually read the post and immediately thought it was going to be something along the lines of "I want to be able to see who has individually cleared this fight" so like in extremes or savage you could have another option or more information related to inspecting someone telling you if they're "skilled(10 clears)" at the fight or haven't cleared/not that many clears.

Just more people scared of the elitist boogeyman.

So you've seen the code to be able to make that statement? One of my biggest irritations as a software developer is when people who haven't actually seen the code make assumptions. If you've seen the code, great, then your statement is accurate. If not, then you don't know what kind of logic is there and what it would take to connect that in the requested way to the DF roulette UI for other players.

But that means either reading (and comprehending) the first sentence or using some common sense to guess that something specifically involving a roulette probably has nothing to do with excluding first timers from the daily grind.
Much easier and faster to just jump to conclusions.

On topic:
I personally never ran into this problem, either because I ask if someone wants to do certain roulettes or because I yoink people that stopped putting up a fight long ago. It does sound like a nice QoL and as long is it only takes minimal time for the devs, I don't see a reason to not have it.
I would hate to have them spend a noticable amount of something so minor, though.

I'm not opposed to this but I don't see the QoL in it. How this would work is more important than the idea itself.

Lets say you are in a party with your friends, now you want to find out who's done what. So you open the party window to see everyone and then...
-Parse through a bunch of tiny symbols somewhere next to their name?
-Click a drop down menu for each of them?
-Click a universal drop down menu that only lists the ones everyone has done?

Or is it going to be another listed item under the social menu that you click on to bring up another window with your party and all the roulettes they've done?

For it to be a QoL feature then its use needs to make life easier in some way, and I'm not seeing how opening several menus or drop down windows is easier than asking "Who's up for LV 80 roulette?" And when you consider if multiple roulettes aren't done, you still have to ask "Which first?"

Easiest way would simply be to do something similar to weekly lockout rewards/daily roulette reward notification system. Simply say where it would say you have already gotten these rewards for the day/week "Someone in the party is not qualified for these rewards"

People sometimes get drinks, use bathrooms, tend to children, or by whatever other reason may not be an entity always engagedly in-game and at their keyboards. Moreover...

• Why do we need to be able to handily ready check? We can just ask if everyone's ready.
• Why do we need to know what class/job others are as part of the default UI? We could just ask or /inspect.
• Why do we need to know what level or ilvl people are, let alone know who's currently preventing us from queuing? If we can't queue, we can just ask who's currently too low or on their carpenter?

This small QoL feature would not require some massive opportunity cost. Its development need not be restricted to if and only if its general function cannot be accomplished by other means.
