Legacy Chocobo

Considering how upset people got about the earing situation a couple years ago, i highly doubt that any more legacy items will find their way back into the game. I didnt earn them, so im fine not having them.

Wait , so not everyone has Tattoos? I thought it’s a generic customization option.

There should be a whole little storyline you could buy. Reliving the final days and beating Neal van Darnus. Coil is very different. After you relive all the old tales with Louisoix, you could unlock the chocobo.

Yoshi-P gave us way more than those two mounts. Next to the tattoo there is a cheaper subscription. We get a 8 character account by the price of 1 (I only use one). Furthermore if you meet him in person he is so nice and thankful for the old players. Lastly my name is in the ARR credits.

So even without mounts we get the appreciation.

The legacy tattoo is a specific design on the base of the neck / back area for characters transferred in to ARR from 1.0, distinct from the racial tattoo options available to all characters :)

Same situation for me. I've only ever seen one legacy mount, the old goobbue, and I've been around since about patch 2.1.

Siren was also a fresh server.

1.0 servers are subtitled (Legacy).

Balmung, Sargatanas, etc.

And for a couple years, legacy players could only move to another legacy server


You cant buy something the rest of us experienced. The legacy Chocobo plumage is darkened from the ashes of the calamity. It's unique to those of us who experienced it first hand.

They aren't going to add that experience back for you. 1.0 is dead and gone, and good riddance, but you can't take away the experience of the ending. As much as I hated 1.0, the ending still has a special place in my memories, and seeing people beg for 1.0 stuff who were never there and decided not to play because it was bad rather upsets me a bit.

No. If a promise was made that this was specifically for Legacy players. Then that is what it is.

I'd love for it to be added, I love all things chocobo! The only thing's I actively try to collect in this game is the bardings for my beloved birb. I have not once seen a person using that mount but I would absolutely love it.

I am not on Zodiark but I was at one point and I always use my Legacy chocobo and there will be more on Legacy servers.

It is Legacy for a reason so it should stay that way.
