To be honest, I always look forward to MPKs hot take on all the topics. Ever since titanmen vanished I’ve had this hole in my heart that MPK fills.

I've known about this mount for awhile. I need to buy it at some point, probably best by EW launch, so I can win too! The time saved with the new zones, and just for a little cash!
I get the feeling MPK should just go back to WoW whilst he waits for the next Ultimate, he clearly doesn't like the content he's playing and have made abundantly clear he prefers WoW. Imagine continually paying for a game you don't like and paying for sockpuppet accounts to troll a game you don't like.
While it's pretty well-known that the motorcycle mount has a higher base speed... I just don't see how it's that big a deal. There just isn't that huge a benefit to getting around faster.
All gathering nodes are personal, you're generally unlikely to get mobbed by enemies if you run through them (and if there's supposed to be enemies surrounding the location, there is a quest-specific spawn zone), and you're seldom racing to get to any one point on the map unless it's a FATE. Heck, all the "important" stuff in Bozja is actually queueable; critical engagements don't require you to actually get there in time, just hop into the queue and you'll be teleported into it. Speaking of which, since travel times are pretty much non-issue between teleporting and flying, the higher mount speed feels a bit superfluous.
At most, the increased mount speed is just getting you a small amount of convenience and the ability to feel a bit less sluggish while running around on the ground. It's a convenience that's easy to get attached to, but it's still a pretty minor convenience.
So is it really "pay to win" if what you're getting doesn't mean anything?
All right I confess. Though I've never admitted on the forums, but yes, for April Fools, I did run a Kugane Fried Chicken event, I thought it'd be funny but maybe I should have taken the guy seriously who showed up claiming to be Colonel Sanders' lawyer instead of trying to sell him Chocobo karaage.
I should have realised after the whole McDonalds/McDowells incident in Coming to America. I thought it'd fall under satire, but I didn't meant to birsmirch the good colonel's chicken.
