1.22 Monk weapons

Your getting decent looking lion/wolf head knuckles soon anyway?

Glove/Gauntlet style for Ifrit is what I had in mind back then... then we got that Ifrit weapon... then we got this Garuda weapon... which is OK but still seems weird imo... then we got that block........... I have no comment for that...

I love the Garuda knuckles and think the crafted ones are super cool. I understand that there are a lot of people who don't like them, but tbh there are going to be a lot of different designs for h2h and I don't mind some variation even if some of them are not my cup of tea. GJ SE!

I wouldn't mind some variations in the weapons appearances, but we don't have a single pair of Normal looking decent weapons yet. Why do all the Powerful Pugilist Weapons have to look absurd? None of the powerful swords look absurd. The Ifrit Bow is a little big, but other than that none of the bows look absurd. I've personally never seen a four pronged trident before, but at least it looks feasible.

Can't we just get a pair of Shiny Black Cesti or something? Why do they all have to be outrageously over the top? Can someone please give me any reasonable explanation why I can't just have a Normal Level 50 weapon?

By all means SE, keep up the attempts at Variety, but do Something Normal first.

Those are the Job Specific Weapons and they will be neither Upgradable nor usable by PGLs.

That's not what I meant and you know it. Doing quests to make a weapon stronger is not the same thing as building a weapon, HQing and Affixing a custom Materia Scheme.

What is the point of a Materia System if it is always less powerful?

Crafted ones look ridiculous to me. G's looks good.

Upgrading is upgrading.

The materia system isn't devaluated because of one slot. There's still six other slots. Plus, the issue with weapons is base damage. Fix that to where a crafted weapon of the same level with multiple materia can perform on par with raid drops and it's resolved.

Regardless of whether or not the JSW is equal to or better than the crafted, it does not change the fact that we deserve weapons that look like weapons.

There is no reason for SE to continually go out of their way to make all PGL weapons absurdly over the top. I would rather have something near invisible than a massive cinder block.
