SE: Please do something about Soul Crystals

Lol we had a CNJ in my leveling roulette in stone vigil....it was pretty horrendous and I waisted 40mins in there. While funny it was definitely unwanted.

It needs to be mandatory right after hawke manor (or however you spell it) also I would suggest it being given in the MSQ and not for them to run and do the quest to obtain it.

Like once they hit 30 they get an auto quest that points them to do a quest to obtain it or flat out just auto gives it to them, but it kind of has to be forced (I hate that word in MMOs) but something has to be done

Didnt realize this was a thing until someone mentioned one tank in extreme Ramuh was a gladiator xD

Had a marauder trying to tank a 50 dungeon. It just wasn’t working for the poor guy. He didn’t even know jobs were a thing he had to get when I asked him about it.

You can always undersize if you want a joke/challenge run using base clases.

Yeah vote kick is the easier solution but it is also not as bad as people make it out to be. Generally given the 5 min timer I will deal with a tank that has no soul crystal as a healer since if they do large pulls I will be able to make I for thir lack of CDs since I mostly do that anyways as a healer. :P Though if the tank does single pulls that is an instant boot at the 5 min mark.

Though since we are talking about this SE could do about it I would rather SE go through the trouble to give every class their AoE at level 15 and giving higher content a proper ilvl gate.

Lack of a soul crystal from one job has more or less the same overall negative impact as having a horrible player in your group.

Crystals are redundant, when an equipped weapon dictates job. They should not even exist and should be removed, just like belts.

There is Zero reason to have a base job only change it's name to become something different at 30. The exception being Scholar and Summoner which could do with a revision on introductory class identity anyway.

You're not an Arcanist, you're just a gimped Scholar/Summoner, just like every other low level class. An 80 running Sastasha is still going to have about the same amount of access to skills.

Think bigger picture, and just get rid of soul crystals, which are not even stat providers anyway.
