In the end here's why i just don't want to remove genderlocking everywere:

The only ones that gain a thing from this are players who players who play :
- females characters
- femboys (idk any other word you get the idea)

Males players who want manly stuff, gain nothing but have to share. But no one cares here right ?

I guess i should ony enjoy a 2P outfit and forget a potential good outfit for males. 9S outfit for every job? Nah no one want's that.

Equal access to all gear / glams for others does not mean less for you. It's not pie. You're not "sharing" anything. Sharing implies that YOU give something of yours to someone else. YOU would lose nothing by SE giving what they gave you to the rest of us as well.

Imagine thinking that only the US (and California in particular...?) have stopped caring about restrictive gender norms. Clothes are pieces of fabric, and even less than that in FF14 as it’s just pixels on a screen. I don’t see the problem in letting people wear whatever the hell they want honestly.

Clearly we have not moved passed it. That said I still long for the day males are able to wear the maid outfit and butler outfits are free for everyone to wear.

What? You and everyone else that's trying to defend genderlocking as good when it's literally less for everyone. Some males want dresses. Some female outfits aren't even skirts or dresses and would fit nicely in male glamour. (The Nezha female set comes to mind) There's so much "manly" stuff in this game already. And people afraid of "men in bikinis", we already have an extremely tight speedo for them, what's the difference? Why do people who play female characters who enjoy expressing themselves in suits and pants have to suffer because you don't like it?
