Once again, GNB and DNC are left out of the new crafted primal weapons

Yeah lets just forget they went back alll the way to ARR to make primal weapons for RDM and SAM in Stormblood whilst also getting crafted weapons throuout all of 4.X patches. You're trying to say we should be thankful for the bare minimum for these classes. But look at the marketboard for DNC and GNB compared to every other class. Its embarrasing. But you wouldn't understand because you main bard and have had everything since game launch. But yeah we should just lie down and be thankful about the lack of options whilst everyone else gets to enjoy other things.

Not an issue. Square Enix is a multi billion dollar company. They could hire contractors to make the weapons and focus on just that. People seem to forget SE isn't hurting for money to hire people.

Please spare yourself from making bad assumptions about what another poster does or does not play. I do play both jobs on both this character and one of my others.

Other jobs got the weapons because those weapon models already existed as the trial rewards. All SE did was add the particle effects.

Or have you never bothered comparing the crafted trial weapons to the trial weapons before?

And people complained about the GNB/DNC Shinryu weapons when those were released because the base weapon models were "borrowed" from other content then the particle effects added.

Starting to see the problem? SE did what they do with all the crafted trial weapons - take an existing model and add particle effects - and players still chose to complain.

I know they went back and added several for SAM/RDM. Did the weapons modeling team have more time available to work on them back then or was there some other factor at play that allowed it to happen then but not now. I don't have answers.

What else do you expect for 2 jobs that only require gear for 20 levels when most of the others require it for 80?

It was your decision to main those jobs. You need to learn to accept the differences that come with them.

Have you at least bothered thanking SE for finally making an Aiming set that looks more appropriate for DNC than BRD/MCH? Probably not. You're too busy looking for trivial things to get offended about.

Can we please stop with the entitlement crap, lets not digress into Pokemon territory now with how disgusting their mindset is and how all fans are entitled and yadda yadda yadda we pay a sub for a quality product and the "vanity" items wouldnt be as big of a deal if SB didnt treat SAM and RDM so well. Comparatively so GNB and DNC not only got the short straw but continue to get the short straw with new weapons added to everyone but them like Seriyu and Suzaku and Tsukiyomi. Currently both only have 1 while 4 were added in SHB. During SB SAM and RDM got all of them even the Dreadwyrm weapons (also the two other 70 ultimates have no options for new jobs)

Cant even blame it on Covid tbh as the jobs were snuffed from the start. This regressive mindset of "your just entitlted be thankful for what you got" is irrlevant and is the worst flavor of corporate boot liking that the pokemon community is currently suffering for. Vanity IS the game alot of people look forward to new weapons only to see the devs blatant disregard to the newest jobs is disheartening to say the least

Once they reach Shadowbringers weapons (not long now thankfully) they will get some good stuff. But until then...we are quite limited in the glamour game.

Bruh, the thanks the devs get is the player base continuing to pay $15 a month plus expansion price every two years. This isn't a gift from your Auntie or something, it's a product that people are paying money for. They are not your friends, you are a customer.

And customers are allowed to question providers when they feel they are missing parts of a product. Get off your high horse.

There quickly comes a point where it's not worth it.
SQEX would pay an ever increasing number of people just to make glamour items for an ever increasing previous number of expansions, and in exchange SQEX makes zero extra dollars because having those items won't sell more subs.

Its not just the blatant disregard too its the disregard with no reason either. You know I could understand if they said something along the lines of "There are no crafted primal DNC and GNB weapons just yet but they are coming just please give us some time." But it's the silence too, its not like they can use the "Its too much hard work" excuse when as you know SAM and RDM got treated so well last expansion in comparison.

I don't know if you've checked but the Shinryu DNC and GNB weapons are unique. Nothing about them are "borrowed".

Yeah, I would never expect them to outsource this sort of thing. I just wanted to create this thread with the intention of bringing this to the dev team's attention if at all possible. At least THIS thread has sparked some debate, whether I agree with some of what's being said or not. I made a thread about the last batch of weapons and it quickly fizzled and faded into nothingness. I know I'm far from the only one not satisfied with the current state of GNB and DNC when it comes to glamour options. So...I'm trying to do something about it.

This is incredibly subjective but the 5.0 weapons look ugly with Light weapons being the only decent looking ones so id MUCH MUCH rather have 4 lords beautiful varied weapons than the Werlty ugly bluky clunky ones or hell even the HW ones as all of them were amazing
