Think we will ever get more hairstyles?

Can't wait for Karen 3.0 hairstyle. This time with extra Manager seeking!

Will we ever get more hairstyles? Most certainly.

Will most people like or use them? Probably not.

They need to quit tip-toeing around these safe "unisex" hairstyles and just release more long/short, masculine/feminine styles and just make them available to everyone.

I think the only hairstyle that doesn’t clip with something is bald.

If clipping is the reason they aren’t doing certain styles then they should be fixing the thousands of existing cases.

Not just hair. Plenty of armor and clothing clips with each other, stored weapons clip through the player's body and equipment (wide-brimmed hats like the bard and black mage artifact sets are notable examples), bulky shoulder gear goes straight through your head in certain poses, and then there's tails.

Clipping isn't a valid excuse when everything in the game clips already.

They've never used it as an excuse that I am aware of; nor has it stopped them. The reason why we don't get more longer hair options is because they become increasingly difficult to get to work even somewhat decently the longer and straighter it is. They do release more long styles eventually. From my observation we get one per expansion, and usually towards the end of it. I am guessing this is the case because they take longer to work with and get the final result into the game.

Unisex would be fine if we had better body customization options. The fact I can't make a trap is sad. But since body types are pretty rigged having unisex hairstyles just makes some look like Tumblr rejects.

We will not get our beloved hairstyles and we never will. It's just not a focus for them.
