Dear Forum Troll, You Win

Adults will keep leaving if the kids run the show. All that will be left here is trolls and people who think trolling/spam is funny. They succeeded in making people with healthy brains too embarrassed to be around them.

I've been a gnome in WoW, a hobbit in LoTRO, a pet cat gone adventurer in Ultima Online, a Porkul in Wizardry Online, Tarutaru in FFXI and Lalafell here in FFXIV . I just prefer smol avatars.

Reddit is a toxic chess pool, I came here to get way from them, you cannot ask legit questions with out being rated at. It’s all tennee boppers posting pictures of their badly drawn characters.

Sure is nice to see the mods deleting other posts and (from the looks of it) banning some users, yet the troll threads remain and are going strong.

There's a report button. Use it.

I can't say that I'm too far from the verge of leaving as well, just tiring to see the same person up to the same BS without much punishment for it. But until that point...

I wouldn't exactly call it toxic, just not very useful. It's all just fanart and discussions about how everything is awesome...the best ones are "I just started playing the game (insert XY number) days/hours ago and I already know it's the best thing since the big bang"
And don't get me started on people asking legitimate job questions and getting the most incompetent answers from "veteran players" I've ever seen.

Getting the wrong advice isn't great, but are you seriously saying it's a negative for a board about a video game - something you play to have fun - might be populated by people who enjoy the game as it is right now instead of constantly complaining and/or lobbying to change it?

This forum's balance of fans and complaints has always seemed like the anomaly to me. Most people I know from FCs and Discords are just enjoying the game.
