I don't know what sections of Twitter you're on, but the parts of XIV Twitter I'm in are very much not a fan of this pairing (granted that's because a lot of them ship Y'shtola/Lyse or similar)

There is hardly any romance in FFXIV. I think Runar and Y'shtola is the only overt ship in the game. I guess maybe Magnai and Sadu too but that's treated more as a running gag.

Otherwise, it's mostly just a few ship teases between the WoL and a character, like the WoL and Alphinaud. Or the WoL and Alisae. Or the WoL and Haucherfant. Or the WoL and Aymeric. Or the WoL and G'raha Tia.
