Shame it's so much work to retrofit gear to new races which is the major issue it appears. I'd even be happy to have limited races with limited backward compatibility with gear if that was the only way to get them. We're already had that somewhat with Viera and Hrothgar.

Honestly its too bad that they don't want too add new races but understandable. Race doesn't change anything in the game besides for looks now. Its a lot of work to make the model, animation, and design the current items to fit a new race for the game. It kinda like expecting capes in this game as much as I would want it.

At least we can expect more jobs and possibly limited jobs right?

If they add another race it would be on their own time if they had extra time on their hands to work on one which I doubt as there is always something else needing tweaked or added.
