No, not really. However in order for games to improve people need to say their opinions, if they didn't and the company didn't listen do you think FFXIV would have come this far?

Well.. they skim through it.. and pick something thats interesting to them.. and argue about it If its a Very long text they has a possibility of being pointless or something worth while. To the Reader.. if you don't start off Good.. they are just going to say Meh.. Im just going to skim through it avoiding key words etc.
Also Since this is your 9/10/11 posts your Obviously New to the Forums.. and this is how the Forums Operate now in days.. Hope you like it :P.
Doesn't matter to me how the forums operate. I don't really care for posting on forums much so I don't come here mostly due to the fact people don't really take opinions conflicting to theirs (specially about something with the name Final Fantasy)very kindly and decide to try to turn it into a fight.
I would rather post an opinion I have and have it be done with its there, but if someones going to argue for whatever reason I'll argue right back doesn't matter much to me. I don't usually go to FF forums because most of the people looking around them would protect a bag of dog poo labelled Final Fantasy like a newborn child regardless of its content.
They clearly missed the fact I stated that I Do like FFXIV and I enjoy playing it, I just had thoughts on some of the points and posted a thread about it.
Some good points OP, and you're suriving the attack of Fanboys quite well.
There a lot of people who are saying "just quit, its fine", if theres people who dont think its fine, and people liking and agreeing, then its obviously not fine is it.
SE want Feedback, so why are you being ignorant ahats and telling this person to "quit" when hes just giving feedback.
The fanboys in this game are so dumb, they tell people to gtfo, quit, and so on, yes im sure SE really appreciate you telling potential customers not to spend their money on the game you supposedly like but continue to fend of customers....
Crazy world...

Just because there have been drastic changes doesn't mean they have to be set in stone. I currently like some of the new stuff that has been put into the game, but if lots of new players aren't drawn to the game...then there's no point in keeping the servers up. I asked for drastic changes on all three player's polls and will adapt to them as they become available :D
Actually not addressing the entire post is just not addressing the entire post.
You should be happy someone welcomed you with constructive reply.
FFXIV is obviously not the game for you. This game is now playable. Its fun for a lot of people, included me.
Its not an action game. FFXIV is its own breed. SE can't target the entire market on every aspect of the game... those being the most basic aspects: battle system, for example.
Most the people love or like the new system and understand it isn't finished yet. But a minority (you and a few others) strongly dislike it.
I'm not trying to be an ass, just saying that if you don't like first person shooters, you don't play first person shooters: you don't go telling the developers to turn it into a turn based strategy game. If you don't like the successful direction XIV is taking, don't play XIV.
The drastic changes have been made, however there are many changes to things that still can be made to help the game improve. The points I directed at were the major points MMO players look for.
"how involved is the combat system and how busy will it keep me" - Fun but can be improved
"How much content can I do with a full raid group or a smaller number of people" - this is a huge one
"How much PvP is there if any and can i get stuff for doing it" - A strong MMO selling point
"How much leveling can I do solo and how long will it take" - its faster to level with leaves as is then some MMOs(so long as you don't abyssea cheat), I personally have np with it, but it could be quicker.
How much can I do with only 1-2 hours - this is also a rather large one for the casual gamers
These are all points that people look at when they chose an MMO and there are so many more.
