I bought the $18 dress to see what I could do with it. It was the best decision I ever made cuz I ended up making something I didn't even know I wanted. $18 well spent.

The prices aren't even that outrageous. You need to chill.

I implore you to go look at the prices of BDO's items in its cash shop. They'd blow your mind.
I don't think the items on mogstation are overpriced at all. Even the newest mount, while I wont buy it. It's fine. It's a luxury item, if it's too expensive for your taste then don't buy it.
I bought the octoberfest outfit for its corset alone for the £11 and I am very pleased with it. But to me I wont buy the mount because I simply won't use it enough to justify the expense whereas that corset is now in 3 of my glams and I see it daily :)
Mogstation sales go straight back into the game and if the choco mount sells well then great. If it doesn't sell well at all I am sure they drop the price of future mounts. But somehow I think it is selling fine since I see it everywhere atm.

I felt 18USD is too high for one of the recently released outfits. So I did not buy it and called it a day.

OPTIONAL items. exactly. You dont NEED them to play, you dont NEED them to beat any of the bosses. in fact, you only buy them if you want something to show off. Written any letters to Louis Vitton lately? or maybe Aston Martin complaining about the prices of their OPTIONAL items?

Here's a tip for a happier life, if you dont need it.. save your money and.... DONT BUY IT.

Which is why we're fortunate to have so many nice things that can be acquired in-game.

Yes the cash shop is disappointingly overpriced and I'd probably spend twice as much if the things were half the price because then I'd feel like I was getting value for the amount of money being asked of me.

Still, most of my favourite glamours involve no cash-shop pieces at all.

1. Other games having worse cash shops doesn't not excuse this cash shop being greedy.
2. There has been exactly one sale on mounts/costumes/minions/barding since I've started playing which was about 16 months ago. Having sales this far apart is not helpful.
3. Telling me to not buy an item is not a helpful response. I want the item, but they're overcharging for it. I do a lot of fashion related stuff and not having access to this stuff is crippling.
4. If this topic comes up a lot, then that says more about the shop than the anyone talking about it.
