I don't really understand what you are saying here....

Pride of Labor and Piece by Piece are the same thing.... One is for decorations and one is for parts.

They both, if succeed, will advance the synth like a rapid, but each has better success if you are synthing what it is good for. They defiantly don't stack.

Using Ingenuity with either of these makes no sense either... I would rather just carefull synth when Ingenuity is active.

The only way to increase the chance of the 30 progress abilities working is using the one that corresponds with the synth you are doing, or using then when the orb is unstable/chatoic.

Assemble - Finished (should be used the most)
Mass Production - (more then 1 yeild, etc ingots/leather/cloth)
Grand Design - (materials)
Pride of Labor - (finished items, there is so few)
Piece by Piece - (parts)

use ingenuity first, it helps both of those skills succeed. Its like starting a synth with 60%complete and 100 dura plus you have 1 turn left of ing to use for whatever. It may not be the best strat but i made it myself cause i never got any help crafting and its been working for me.

also even though they say part and decorations they work on everything, i use them all the time.

and they do stack on ingenuity.

Any 1 time use ability and a duration stack, but I feel like your wasting a turn of Ingenuity here. I am not convinced it helps the 30% one succeed either.

Also using them at the beginning increases your risk I believe.

i uasually go ingenutiy 30%skill careful synth 30% skill just cause i dont like using them back to back. Ing def increases chances of success for them cause on a lvl 51+ skill they will always fail for me without ing.

By doing this im starting the synth at 60%complete and max dura so i have alot more wiggle room. I dont have as many crafts as you i dont think(gsm 50 arm50 bsm45 and lth31) so i wont have the same setup as you.

Ive been doing this for a long time now and if both succeed i normally get 90+%HQ by the time im done(very often ill get 100%hq)

Note:these skills dont give me any HQ they just just allow me to have more dura to careful syth with.

I'm guessing you don't have Hands of the Gods, Syntax?

no i wanna get it but i fear if i go out of my way as soon as i get it they revamp the skills,lol.

A legitimate fear lol. Though from what i understand, they'll primarily be revamping the less useful ones... but who really knows?

Just thought that 60% progress with 100 dura is way too late in the synth to start Carefuls. Being that I have Tender Touch and Hands of the Gods, I use a single 30% skill and do the rest of the synthesis (70%) in Carefuls.

if im at like 95% with 3o+dura i use ease the burden which will reduce synth by 10% and control risk. I save that skill for last all the time.

Assemble needs to be added. Chance to progress 30% at a loss of 10 durability at most on fail (0 with perfect use), not affected by aetherial sparking. If you are at 6 durability remaining and 99% progress, might as well chance it with Assemble.

I use Perfection, Hand of the Gods, Immersion, Epiphany, Innovation, Determination, Masterpiece, Tender Touch, and a couple others (Culmination? Grandmastery?)...idr what on Weaver for my HQ attempts...consistantly get 80% HQ chance or higher on the highest level synths using all HQ materials. Anything 40 and below I consistantly get 1000 quality (or damn near close to it...950+) I'd say for 30 and below...I don't even bother using HQ mats to try and HQ anymore. It is just too easy.
