Don't think they can buy gil they're not allowed to use the Mogletter service, can't trade with another user and are gil capped although the rules and policies i'm looking at don't say what that amount is.

Absolutely not. Bots are ALREADY enough of a problem. In the housings current state, letting free accounts get houses would only encourage botting more. NOW if they make buying a house more like a raffle system (not instanced housing because that still doesn't fix the issue of spam bots) I would be okay with it.
And no, the free trial doesn't limit the Gil at 300k, I know I was a free trial and had around 2 million.

It was 300k a year ago according to this guy. It was 300k in 2017. Maybe they raised it in the last year?
