i spent under 1,000 on my rig.
AMD phenom quad core ( 4cpus) 2.8 overclocked to 3.2
GPU Radion HD5750 i have all my settings on high , highest , or 8 ( the difference between 8 and 9 isent noticeable really)
Most the higher end options are for 3D settings witch the HD5750 is 3D ready and my 32inch Vizio is also 3D ready but meh..
I got the PC from best buy for like 700~750 with tax and the HD5750 GPU was 120 , you can get the new HD6850 for like 150 i think but really not needed.
you can't run the game until you have atleast one Power Supply
800W power supply. >< sorry I always forget to include that in pc specs. lol
I just recently purchased a new PC so i could play FFxiv paid 300 for the machine everything was integrated but fixed that with a new 650watt power supply and bought a radeon HD5770 the processor it came with is a pentium dualcore 2.80ghz with 4 gigs of ram im no graphics hog so im happy as long as it plays and it plays great with this setup
Having an underpowered (cheap) PSU will have that effect, but that has nothing to do with XIV specifically.
*methinks someone wanted to just show off their setup*
I'm not hating on your thread too much, promise. There already exists a thread though for posting your rig and settings, and if you looked at the site (or the box) to check minimum pc requirements only one of two things are possible. Either you don't know anything about computer hardware and are posting every keen detail about the components to look for appraisal without missing any details (not likely scenario), or you as I already mentioned, wanted to show off your specs.
Lol. it is a pretty nice rig though.
