yeah well, that issue your talking about is a myth. If you move a server from japan to america you will see no difference whatsoever. Hey, ive tried playing wow on european server and american server, for some reason, the normal ping on ther american one was half of the european one, aint that odd? at least that means location of server doesnt mean anything.

(By the way, if you check japanese forums, they to are having the lag problems, biggest problem is that most people here dont understand japanese :P)

edit: my post remembers brief instances of a very responsive interface for a few play sessions back in October 2010/November 2010 timeframe. But I don't think I've quite experienced that UI responsiveness since then.

Just to show the difference between playing on a NA server, and a JP server. The latency and download speed is totally different.

This is what server latency would be at or around if there were a NA server

You tell me that 4x's more latency, and more then 11.5x slower download speed doesn't = a slower NA response to play XIV, then I'd like you to defend the numbers.

Edit. Also before a troll says that's not a good internet connection, I don't lag on WoW, SC2, BF3, Any CoD, GW, nor SW:ToR. And on full graphics also, with no UI lag.

A 16 minute AV is run is very possible in NA.
We often do sub 20 min runs, and in none of those has everything gone exactly right.
So many places where time could be shaved off.

Didn't say a AV speed run isn't possible. Because it is. But not a 16 min speed run. As you just said, you haven't done it yourselves.

BTW, much love. Just stating #'s to show proof that there is lag for NA players.

We did a 7 man run with 2 min to spare, which tells me if all went perfect, 16 min is in reach.

Reason it hasn't been done yet, is because of the lag issues. We have to be perfect on a run to get speed runs. Also, IF that video worked I could watch it. Also, are you doing a 5 chest AV speed run? or skipping a chest to get speed run chest?

Should say you can mess up on CC and still get 5 chest speed run. My LS and I have done it.

AV, you can't mess up on a NA speed run or you lost your 5 chest speed run.
