If You're Having DirectX 11 Crash Issues, REPLY TO THIS!

Like many others, I'll have to cancel my sub if they don't fix this. No reason to keep giving them money if I literally can't play the game.

This thread is for EXPOSURE, please note that if you're trying to ask someone "have you tried this?" 90% of us have done everything short of building a new PC because of how many dang threads there are in this Tech Support section.

SE needs to pay attention to us. They need to fix this.

And plus, if we have to do a lot of these countless "fixes", so the game is proof that it’s totally broken... we just wanna turn on the pc and play the game, not spent hours in configurations

Part of the Ryzen crew, game crashes frequently, most often without any message, sometimes the dx11 thingy, somehow always manages to be at the worst time possible

My game crashes very irregularly. Sometimes under heavy load, sometimes while running in the background with all graphic settings reduced to minimum with reduced background FPS and 99% of the time it results in my whole system crashing/restarting.

I've read of people that had very similar issues with other games and DX11 as well and for them apparently a GPU Bios Flash did the trick. Unfortunately for my GTX 1060 6GB there is no Bios update haha. Besides that I wouldn't attempt that anyway without solid knowledge of what I'm doing since Updating BIOS can always render hardware useless if something goes wrong.

I finally got this issue after upgrading my nvidia drivers.
So I rolled them back and was able to log in fine.

Not entirely sure if this is the cause of everyones issues. But I'm on 441.87, with the driver revision I tried was 445.87.
So perhaps manually installing or rolling back to 441.87 may help the nvidia users out there.

I had this issue on my laptop (I7, GTX1070 etc etc), always happened in the same spot while gathering (During SB). Got into digging and it was suggested on Reddit that corrupt texture files could be to blame. I initially reinstalled from an old launcher .exe I had, issue was still present. I then wiped EVERY TRACE OF XIV from that system. Downloaded a new installer (bitch to find, no less) and started from scratch. I re used nothing, no character folders, macros, nothing. Fixed. This isn't a suggested fix, it's confirming it's on SE's end, at least in my case. I didn't update or roll back any drivers or do anything to my Windows install, I mean, I did initially but nothing helped. This is SE's issue it's not our systems.

It just happens at random, crashes to desktop, and no errors.

It crashes all the time. Can't seem to find a solution anywhere!

I have a problem where the game would randomly crash to the desktop with no errors. there times when i can play for hours and other times its crashes with in a min or 10. once login to my character.
