Idea: Premium Wards

Well this is a fun suggestion when so many people are losing their jobs and incomes to coronavirus...

This is an awful idea OP, housing should be for everyone, not just the mogstation whales. Should we also give premium access to other content like dungeons, raids etc.

The same people who complain about this idea are the ones who, without any hesitation, spend money on drugs, alcohol, gambling or any other questionable dependence.

I dont know if you are being serious but I never spend a dime on drugs, alcohol or even gambling for that manner. I don't even go to movie theater. What the heck is this kind of reasoning?

It's the "I'm superior" reasoning. Get used to it from that person.

I don't like OP's idea and I don't do anything that person listed either. Doing those things would mean going outside...and well that's something I tend to avoid doing :D

I actually could afford to pay the fees OP suggests but I dislike the idea on principle. We already pay a sub, and we pay for the base game and expansions. Putting another fee on top of that for access to playable content (which we're already paying for!) is venturing into the realms of what you would expect from a free to play game. I understand why those games have fees for many features, they need to make money somehow. But with FFXIV SE already get money from us if we even just want to log in. On top of that they have a very successful cash shop. To say the least it would cause massive controversy if something like OP's idea got introduced. And rightly so.

The housing situation certainly needs improvement, but OP's idea is not the way to do it.

If I'm gonna use real money on a house it's gonna go to my actual house thank you. XIV is my luxury and I don't think that luxury should feel like an obligation.

The type of reasoning it's not surprising to see from someone who has multiple service accounts so they can hoard a limited resource and shut other players out while coming up with excuses on why they should have it and others shouldn't.

Just place Y'shtola and his various alt accounts on ignore when you come across them. There's no constructive discussion to be found.

Yshtola just wants a Premium Ward all to their multiple selves. >w>

Improved apartments like really designer aesthetics and functionality, that is readilly available for purchase for everyone having completed the quest for housing eligibility, even subject to auto demolition but owner of the demolished property can repurchase a new apartment upon resubbing.

I would prefer that they solve the problems that already exist with housing instead of charging extra to bypass those problems like they already do with inventory space and retainers. However, if they were to charge real money for housing then they better be spectacular houses in fancier wards to make it feel "worth it".
