Echo buff should be in dungeons for wipes

I have already when it 1st came out and I had to get gear to even enter it cause I just started back the patch it was released

That sounds like an exceptionally bad group. While they happen now and then you'll probably get through with another attempt. If you end up in such a situation again, try to vote abandon first; if it passes you'll get out without a penalty.

I have one good joke about this, too bad jokes are forbidden nowadays

If you can't beat ANY dungeon in the game — regardless of whether it's current content or not — then you don't deserve the rewards.

So hard disagree on the Echo buff, aka the welfare buff.

Don't give in to the GCBTW

I completed it by forming a group from my free company. They were helpful and competent. I should do that more often. PUGs are sometimes awful.

healer does not even need to stay alive there if tank and dps play well and use their skills wisely.

Glad you got through it! And yes unfortunately there are times when the PUGs in this game are so awful it boggles the mind. Thankfully for the most part some-what decent players outnumber them, so I hope you only get good encounters going forward in the MSQ.

Me too but I was just barely high enough to enter. Had no problems. If it were Savage or ex I could understand for old content, but regular dungeons, naw too easy as is. The burn used to be bad too, now with gear carrying it's a cake walk.

The Echo isn't going to help a party bad enough to wipe that many times in a dungeon. I'm not saying you're terrible. Just saying that not enough of you were performing adequately. You might have been doing okay but if the other three were not...well nothing you can do about that except try again with a different group.

Nah don't quit. Ending up with a really bad group is almost a rite of passage in mmorpgs. It happens to all of us at some point. And if you play for long enough it will definitely happen more than once. Most players tend to be pretty decent. It's exceptionally rare for more than two wipes to occur in any dungeon.

That you stayed for ten wipes doesn't say good things about the party, but it does say something good about your patience. Most players would have left after the second or third wipe. I certainly wouldn't have stuck around long enough to see more than four. Patience is a good trait to have for mmos as they tend to be grindy, and as you know you don't always end up with the ideal group. Patience can really take you a long way in this genre.

Playing with people you know is almost always better in every way. I'm glad you completed the instance. Enjoy the rest of the game :)
