Give Highlanders eyebrows already

That's the thing, they don't need to sacrifice anything. There IS an option to change the shape of your brow...there's just no hair. Literally, all it would be is a quick and easy texture job.

It's like how Elves are among the most popular character choice in other MMO's but they're not in FFXIV - in large part due to inelegant, weird proportions for the model and their animations.

ESPECIALLY WARRIOR OF LIGHT HIGHLANDERS who appear to have no direct ties to Eorzea at all, let alone ala mhigo specifically, with the way the msq is written. Also Ala Mhigo has been liberated for a while now they can let their eyebrows grow out again. Maybe the real reason is one of the artists is a big fan of super saiyan 3 from dragonball.

Wait what? There is actually something in the lore of the game I've been missing the last few years that actually explains why they don't have eyebrows? LOL (and yes I'm sure I could google this, but I don't want to) :D

Edit: Okay so I did google it...and REALLY? All they do is shave them off? So they clearly do have "eyebrows" and this should be an option (not the stupid painted on ones under face paint options).

And duskwight elezen aren't supposed to exist above ground, nor should the be allowed to enter the twelveswood without invoking the wrath of the elementals.... yet here we are. Lore isn't a valid reason to say this shouldn't be allowed.

I actually started playing the game as a Highlander (hence my forum name). I've tried to play one a few times since that point and I love how tall and beefy they are. Yet every time I end up going back playing a Midlander because the lack of Highlander eyebrows just ends up bothering me way too much to stick with it.

why is this even a thread? the game can't render eyebrows because it takes up too much processing power

I actually use the face paint feature to make my char's brows thicker, too, because default brows are too thin imo. I actually think the paint brows on your avatar looks great. X'D They don't look like caterpillars at all, very flattering.
But yeah, adding a an eyebrow option in the facial feature section should be easy enough to do XD

Honestly if we're bound to use the face paint it could at least use a little polishing, make it look like actual painted eyebrows, not 2 smeary brush swipes over the eyes.

[Also I'm going to take a wild guess and say since it's such a uhh...petty change and SE is aware mods exist, they're just pretending anyone who wants brows is already using it, so why bother wasting actual resources in it (?)]

Adding highlander eyebrows and midlander beards would shatter the entire game. There's just not enough resources to make up for it :(

Highlander men would go from a 7 to a 10 if they had eyebrows.
