Sad that still is going on, the perpetrator has been found on multiple occasions and nothing has been done so far.
Punishing the individual won't change the problem as someone else could take their place, the minions need to wait out their 5 min timer regardless if they get pulled or not in order for this grief tactic to stop.

This has happened at least twice in the past 24 hours on Aether Datacenter.
Tarchia on Cactuar yesterday spawned minions, and Tyger on Faerie today did as well. Both had at least one minion despawn before 60 seconds had passed, before anyone could even arrive at the Gossip locations.
This is a repeating problem and deliberate grief behavior from the same player, who is exploiting the Forgiven Gossip despawn condition in order to inconvenience an entire data center's worth of players who participate in cross-world hunting.
The gross ineptitude of the GMs in addressing this repeat offender's ToS-breaking behavior aside... if the Gossips were not able to be exploited in this way, the problem would be solved long-term.
I fully understand they cannot be allowed to hang around in the same way that normal hunts do. They are time-sensitive.
If I understand correctly, they have a built-in timer already, which requires they be engaged and defeated, or else they despawn. That condition alone is sufficient. The reset = despawn condition, at this point, serves as nothing more than an exploit for malicious players to harass others. I would propose the devs remove the reset = despawn condition from the Forgiven Gossip enemies. This is a long-term solution to preventing both intentional malicious harassment via reset/despawn, as well as accidental despawns (as we saw early in the expansion with people leveling or out gathering).
