I'm fine with people stealing my ideas as I don't mind stealing others. If I see something I like, I'll use it and I expect others should able to do the same. It's actually flattering when someone does that. I won't claim I created it if I didn't, of course, but it's not like its some copyrighted thing.
Keep your house private if this is a problem for you. I think this is a tad silly and petty.
The only time I had a problem with design copying was when someone submitted their copy to housingsnap with zero credit to us (the designers from whom they copied). Personal use is whatever, but on a site where the whole idea is to share your designs, credit becomes more important IMO. Those people I cut contact with. But generally, anyone else taking inspiration from us feels good, like we did our job so well that it sparked something in others.
First of all - it is hard to give proper credit. If I'm seeing a bathroom that I like and I re-create it, I can't really "tag" the "original" creator.
Also - with the items we have it is pretty hard to come up with a real original build. And especially housing beginners tend to copy things they like and before they start to create something themselfs. The "Copyright" itself is with SE anyways - no matter what kind of build you are coming up with.
However, if they copy 1:1 from you and then sell it as their own on websites like Twitter or Housingsnap without crediting you - yeah, then I would be pissed. But just for their personal use - honestly, that would flatter me instead of making me mad ;)
If someone copied my idea down to every last detail I think I'd be annoyed, even if they credited me. But almost every decorator I know takes ideas from others and puts their own spin on it. I remember on Balmung my neighbor copied my basement layout. It was surprising, but I was flattered that they liked it so much to copy it.

That'll be a "yikes" from me.
