Bring back loot lockout for normal raids.

It's amazing how many times I've left Eden with nothing, even with the possibility of winning 8 items instead of just 1 now, it feels like a majority of the time I'm getting nothing at all. Guaranteeing 1 per run sounds a lot better than what I've been experiencing since 5.1.

I liked it better before with one item per run. Now it seems people simply roll on everything and in my experience you often come away with nothing you want.

I am usually not after any particular item when running normal raids. Being able to roll on every item and usually obtaining 1-3 of them every run makes gearing left side for my alt jobs very easy and use crafted accessories on the right side now that we can upgrade them to i460.

So to response to this thread I am happy with the fact we can roll on multiple items since I don't have to think about which one I want to roll on. Can just roll need on all and add whatever tokens I get to my stockpile to use when needed.

Basically this.

Only one thing to add: Eden NM is literally always a braindead win (even with the most gcbtw df highlights you could possibly get) and takes no more than 10 minutes per run. If you want to gear something up, you gotta put effort in it and the current effort for NM raid gear is already minimal to a point where they could just hand it out for free.

Loot lockout for normal is always removed on odd patches. Now you can get a piece of gear from the 24 man, or farm the dungeon for ilvl 445. Which is good enough if you do not intend to do savage. There is also the capped tomes, You can craft ilvl 450 and upgrade to 460.

20+ runs no pants. cant raid cause my i level 2 low... i hate this..

simply ask if you can a have a piece of certain gear you are after. Most times people are a ok as long as you say something about needing it.

I like the idea of Needing one piece and being able to Greed the rest. Still have a chance at getting everything you aim for, but this way you can set one item up specifically for increased priority.

pay 100k for a crafted piece which has a higher ilvl anyway (if you trade it for 650 now)

I like that idea. The competition is brutal. I see no moral issues at all with this.
