Its been the best spot for so many materials for quite a while. I'd be sad to see it go if I didnt stock up on a TON of Darksteel / Spruce / Cordials.Quote:
It's funny how much people hated the diadem, until it goes away.

I am also extremely disappointed that there was no advance warning of a decision to eliminate Diadem achievements. I've been working on the Crown of Thorns V achievement for quite some time via a discord group, and I am positive that we all would've hastened our efforts had we been made aware of the impending removal.
It's baffling that Wolf's Fold PvP achievements were rolled up into Feast matches when Fold was taken out, but the ones for Diadem are simply evaporating without affording players a warning and opportunity to complete them.
I sincerely hope this decision is walked back, or more clarification about whether this change is permanent is provided.
First time achievements vanish since 2.0, without knowing if they come back. Not good communication.
Some clarification from the community team on this would definitely be appreciated, a lot of people are extremely worried.
Personally, I'm not sold that the achievements are gone for good. As we saw with GARO, removed content is typically communicated well in advance and achievements have been reworked to remain obtainable in the past.
Not really. You're joke implied that while he said he was "going to get to it" he really wasn't ever going to get to it, even if it was still in the game forever. While that may be true, the truth of that matter is that there is no joke here. He put it off as a "maybe tomorrow" thing because of how difficult it was to get in to, and now he's screwed. I'm not laughing and I'm sure he isn't either.
Go ahead. Try and get in there now. Try and actually take down an NM. I tried back in the day in 3.5. I really really really tried for a really really really long time. 78 kills is what I got before 4.0 dropped and it died. You can get in there if you have a group of people willing to do it (good luck finding them though). But killing an NM is another story, and why a lot of my later attempts towards the end failed. Most of those NMs take more than 8 random people to kill within the time limit of the fate. 8 great players could maybe slog through the weaker ones. Maybe.
