hey look, more excuses- with some heft deflection and projection to boot. but what else would i expect from you.

I play with a controller and have no problems stopping and healing. They did add a shiny new feature that tells you when you aren't moving. If you are getting interrupted you either have a bad tank or you aren't using your crowd control spells.
the problem isn't whether i can or not. i have only ran cutters a few times. we may run 2-3 tries on av every other day. of course i am not going to get the speed run. if one group spends 12-14 hours a day on content and another group spends 2 hours every other day it's not a hard thing to figure out which group will complete content first.
the problem i keep stating is that it is glitchy and problematic when using a controller. when you are standing still and not moving and hitting the same spell 5+ times before it starts casting that has nothing to do with the player and everything to do with the implementation of the system.
i have not said it should be able to move, but all i have stated is since it has issues and even yoshi admitted as much it should have been held off until it was ready to be installed into the game. their reason for adding it to the game was it'd make balancing pvp easier and that is fine. what's not fine is pvp is not in game now so adding a broken system into the game should have been held off until ready.
Its possible to complete the content... but instead of using the in game features to help you, instead you complete the content in spite of the bugs/glitches
Its like some people say "My timers have never been off"
that doesn't mean it isn't an issue for a lot of people
I know I've been standing still tanking on paladin and went to heal and saw "You cannot cast while moving"
I've tried to cast spells and absolutely nothing happened up to 3 times in a row...
Its not all the time... and it doesn't necessarily stop you from running a dungeon... but that doesn't make it right...
Thats like saying rich people shouldn't be upset when they get robbed... because they are still rich...
complaining about being robbed is for poor people... right?
Yes it was problematic, but they implemented a band-aid until the issue can be resolved which was /facetarget and surprisingly it works! but apparently let's ignore than and press same spell 5x instead.
Has this issue bugs me in a way or another? it sure has. But Yoshi has clearly stated they want us to get used to the new casting specs as soon as possible to make sure transition to v2.0 is easier, and i support his idea.
This issue isn't game breaking. You can't suddenly just suck as mage because of it.

For those players who play with a gamepad while laying down (meaning, they do not have a keyboard nearby), in order to make it so casting is not constantly canceled due to inertia movement, we have made adjustments on the server side so that casting is not possible until the server determines that movement has stopped. Also, minute adjustments will be made to inertia movement distance following this. (It is possible to setup macros for /facetarget)
We’ve made adjustments so that you can play with a controller while lying down just fine without using /facetarget if you aren’t too concerned with the quickest spell casting, so we would like you all to try this out and let us know your feedback.
This is what he said. You will do just fine wtih /facetarget, but you just choose to ignores /facetarget. You want to be efficient? use /facetarget.
I think that once 2.0 is out they should replace move to cancel with jump to cancel. Would make more sense.
