Darklight Drop Rates AV/CC

A lot of ppl still fail AV/CC..just like a lot of ppl still fail Ifrit after its been out for god knows how long. So it does keep things mostly rare; itll be a very long time before you see the majority of ppl in full darklight lol. A very long time.

And given that so many ppl are capped they dont have a choice but to make the goodies rare. Otherwise ppl would stop running it and get bored/afk til next patch.

Yep, these Speed Runs are slightly more demanding than DH's Speed Run. More chances to mess up in the run, and bosses are slightly more difficult though not by much.

We just got our first darklight in like 20 runs or so today, putting us to 4 total or about 11%? According to our spreadsheet. We got 3 from the first 3 runs we did, which looking back on now, was pretty lucky.

Have people only gotten Darklight drops from 5 chest runs, or have they gotten them from less?

well im allready bored with these two dungeons and i have only done a few runs..

i dunno if i got the stomach to keep doing them night after night till the next patch.

so i guess if the low drop rate is an attempt to keep me playing, it has failed miserably lol.

When you make it this tedious, the players who thrive on challenge and actually beat content first are going to get sick to death of doing the same dungeon hundreds of times. It's not an effective time sink, it just drives people away. Abysmally low drop rates are the worst time sink you can employ in an MMO.

every day im getting more and more turned off by this game

Feels good when you finally see a drop though.

We have gotten 6 dark light, out of about 150+ chests (35 CC runs, 8-9 AV runs)

numbers like this will skew the percentage.

In order to obtain a definitive % rate you need to find out which darklight piece drops from which chest in which dungeon specifically. Then start taking numbers of how many times that piece dropped from that chest. In the end you will obtain a corresponding to each individual piece and their corresponding chests = /thumbsup

If you throw in all of the other treasure chests into the average who don't drop the darklight gear your % rate will be entirely false.

I was under the impression that Dark light had a chance to drop from every chest in CC. I could be wrong.
