The OP has a point. The concept I believe everyone who's against it are missing is that you actually -go- to the crystal before being able to port there. Afterwards you can teleport as much as you want. I do not recall him saying that he disliked anima or teleporting in any manner. Rather have them take the time to gather that node.
A good example would be the crag crystals in XI... or even the kazham keys for the airship pass (although you also had the option to buy it).
In -my- opinion he has a point. Earn your nodes to teleport freely.

Really this Isn't going to fix anything for the people who want the exploration. The people who want to go explore are the ones out there doing it. No one is forcing you to take that teleport to that area but yourself.

Exploration should be a choice, not forced upon everyone just because some people like it. This is coming from someone who regularly runs out to the aether nodes for fun. But I won't force others to do it just because I like to do it.

Honestly I would like to see anima removed, and a 15 minute recast on teleport put in it's place.

This community never ceases to amaze me, I even wrote on the first line that I was ok with the anima system so you mindless trolls could grasp my idea before firing your canons, but I guess it wasn't enough.
People still go "OH YOU LIEKS TO EXPLOR?!? THEN GO EXPLOR AND LEAV E ME ALONEZ!!!1"
Anyway, little rant apart, I'm surprised by the amount of support this thread recieved.
People who want teleports delivered to them on a silverplate like they are right now, are probably persons who when looking back at the games they played, have no memories at all.
Honestly, I want to know how many players in this thread has ever boarded the ferry!

I wish they would just have anima regenerate abit faster if you stay at the Inn or maybe just give double while you are in there. I also agree with the exploration thing having played this game since launch the idea of exploring is now tired I've seen many areas too many times now it is no longer exploring but a time waster. It's an inconvenience when you are just trying to get together with friends and play and you waste 15 minutes because someone needs to run from somewhere. That being said I am not against limits just they need to lower the amount of time regen happens

The problem right now is, what really is there to explore?
There are only a few points of interest I can think of, but otherwise all the landscape is mostly devoid of purpose

I'm not saying for ourselves jesus christ, we've ruined it for us when we got babysitted everywhere. You'll never remember your first time in the other cities.
When you're walking to save anima you're just wasting time (which isn't terribly wrong either, since this is a mmorpg), I'm fine with us being able to teleport everywhere!
But we have the crystals..
When new areas get added to the game I'll hate hearing ls member saying "just got ported to the new zone. who wants teleport? :)" and everybody getting to the new zone without having any idea how to get there, and what it is close to.
