FFXIV money is used to fund other projects, like you know, that one indie game, Final Fantasy VII Remake or that other indie game that released a while back, Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3.

I think the only thing they can particularly do is add more new servers, and try to convince people to move to them.
I actually moved from siren (aether) to goblin (crystal) because I got my daughter an account and she hasn't been able to make a character to play with me since she got the account. I watched the status for a few days before choosing goblin because it was a preferred realm with the lowest (still able to make a character) population. Now I transfer and goblin is closed off for her too......
No queue here on Balmung xD.
hit 1200+ yesterday on Ragnarok.
Took me about 20 minutes to get in.
It's not that bad as people make it out, and the queues will die down once the launch hype is over.
Sure it does, cause it was only a example, you figure I am missing out on hours every 2-3 days I can log on and then 2 weekends when its free sitting there for 2 hours sometimes less to get into the server only to dc with a 2002 and giving up till later the night only to get a few hours on a whole day I missed then weekend work and those 2 hours can't get in congested if I am lucky I can play a few hours more.
please don't try to soften the problem. its not just me people who actually bought the game cannot get into the servers they want and they get 30 days free what you going to tell them sorry your just out of luck.
thanks for the support but too bad? lol you make me laugh.
SE seems very reluctant to add more servers while there is still underused servers in any of the geographical datacenters (NA, EU, JP).
They have added new servers to the EU datacenter twice now, but each time it happened ALL of the EU servers had a fairly high population.
While several of the NA servers are overpopulated right now, there are a couple of them with a fairly low population. I suspect SE is waiting for those to fill up before adding more NA servers.
They very clearly want us players to do our part in spreading out somewhat evenly among the available servers rather than all bunching up on the most popular ones.
