This story was really emotionally charged compared to any of the others so far, IMO.
Every little revelation and tragedy just made me want to keep pushing forward to the end.
I never would've imagined feeling any remorse for Ascians, either, much less Solus with how nonchalant he was about all the horrible things he did.

All I have to say is That I've always hated faeries across all media and was slightly annoyed by them in Il Mheg. But dammit, that scene after the Titania fight was comedic gold. First time I laughed so hard at a cutscene in this game so hard.
I've been playing since Friday almost nonstop and I'm having a GREAT time with it. I'm trying to hold my judgment until more is released but I'm thinking this could be my favorite expansion so far. SE really went all out with this one it seems.

Not that I need traumatic experiences to find content enjoyable, but it was a reaction that has not come out of me since HW. That's not the only thing positive to come out of the expansion so far though. I am also in love with the areas and the music. First time explorations are exactly that: one time only. One of the main things I look forward to with expansions is taking in all the new areas, quests, NPCs, mobs, and learning about what's making things tick (or break down). I'm one of those players where when the MSQ takes you to the point that an NPC plays tour guide, I would have to tell them that there is no need.
All in all I am very much enjoying the new expansion. I am going to take my sweet time and savor every bit of it.

Man.. when my WoD took all the light into herself i was so goddamn worried. Especially when it broke loose at the final battle and after the 5th lightbringer absorption. I know we have plot armor. But having played with my character for so long cant deny theres some sort of emotional bond forged with them. Meaning you experience joy when they do, you suffer with them when they do etc.
Story, Music, multiple choice answers. All on point. I was on terms with my Warrior every single time a choice box appeared. Meaning i would have said the exact same thing.
Square you overshot yourself with this. Well done! I strongly doubt you can top this for 6.0 but try as you might! :D
Please try and keep up this momentum into future patches!
