Really? I saw someone posted a chart for personal dps and from highest to lowest was GNB, PLD, WAR, and DRK.

GNB and PLD both above WAR? I find it hard to believe... considering PLD has always been an "immovable object" kind of tank with lowest damage but highest defenses. Can you find the source of it please?

GNB is last it would seem, unless the guy on reddit made wrong calculations which honestly can happen. But yeah, PLD is the highest with DPS.

Self-sustain is gone, the random potency heals that GNB, DRK and WAR have on their combos are just flat potency; not nearly as good as heals based on the damage dealt like in SB. Defensive wise... GNB is "meh, works good enough I guess", PLD and WAR are power houses imo and good luck with breaking TNB on DRK- because if you don't, you lose a big chunk of your DPS.

How did you manage to max level all the tanks and try them out extensively with materia builds in extreme?

How can you even gather the correct data without hard data from actually leveling and building several builds? Jeez

There are two types of people: those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.




Anyways DRK isn't bad. It plays like a slightly busier WAR that requires slightly more attention. I like WAR, so this resemblance isn't a bad thing, but what I do dislike is my high APM tank option is missing.

This image was posted on reddit too, it's based on a ton of assumptions and normalized potencies, so it is as inaccurate as you can possibly get. The poster on reddit was already called out on this and this should not be taken as fact whatsoever.

Yah but that's not how it works, you can only extrapolate when you have a complete data set.

Now correct me if I am wrong but a complete data set includes all variables of all jobs with all of them at max efficiency with max rotation.

Now also correct me if I am wrong turbo, but I am willing to pay a month of your sub if everyone has gotten all that done already with one character.
