Cross World Visits Are Ruining Hunts

Well sorry but you are not on our server and it has been the standard for us to wait after initially calling it in linkshells since hunts were introduced so yes there is such a thing when the majority waits.

That doesn't take away from the fact that there's no right or wrong way to do hunts. World server visits will remain and you'll just have to find a way around cross server early pullers if it bothers you so much.

Another thread complaining about people not waiting. And yes, SE intends for hunts to be competitive. Not the other way around where people get carried by the work of those that spawn it. you don't wanna miss them, you gotta work for them. Simple as that.

I think both sides have a point.

On one hand s ranks are easier to get than ever, as long as you're paying attention and coordinating. Aether has its dramas but I think mostly everyone does their best to cooperate and ensure people get there. Its not perfect, but...it's alright. Even though I've missed quite a few, i'm making it to 3x as many s ranks in a week.

On the flip side I've also missed a lot due to certain notorious hunters. Those who set out to "early pull" and cause hunt drama have a bigger platform than ever. There's only so many s ranks one can pull (that, coincidentally, they didn't help spawn) before it becomes obviously griefing, and I wish SE would step up and notice this behavior and make adjustments.

The world visit system is starting to cause the same problems you would get on the WoW cross-realm zone system in a way. You get people that harass others.

It's a bit worse here because you can't report someone as easily because you don't know what server they are from or anything. It leaves the door open to harass people like no other.

It's only going to get worse.

You can always check their search info or start sending them a tell to see what world they're hailing from

There are no early pulls; only late arrivals.

There's at least 1 Discord specific to Crystal and another that covers all DCs; gotta join those for now until SE can bring linkshells out of the dark ages and make them useful for hunting again.

Thing is, the majority is not the majority anymore. At least not in the way you're talking about. One server of people vs all the other servers in the data center is by no means a majority.

Yes it is. And the reasoning you stated here is why. Maybe it isn't a "rule" or maybe it hasn't been made a rule because of the hope that people will cooperate with each other, you know, like adults instead of arguing amongst themselves about the fact that "too bad I CAN..no one said I CAN'T" as if they need rules to function instead of governing themselves (rules are babysitters, made for those who can't function on their own). Of course those who love the turmoil they cause will revel in it, it always brings those out. Those who ask for cooperation will be admonished and ridiculed for it because "we CAN..." as always.
