Should I report this person for an unjust dismissal? Happened during an Orbonne run

SCH was unnecessary salty, but technically you provoked the kick by yourself, sadly.

If I have problems with gamepad (I have the same glitch with camera sometimes, and sometimes my moving stick works wrong) and it causes my death or something worse - I apologise in chat and say honestly that I had problems with gamepad. No need to start the conflict, healer could be busy with something else (healing tank? oh wait, it's normally me... whatever then, he just could be distracted, nothing criminal in it) atm. In case if after my explanations somebody starts to write salty comments - that's another story, but even then I prefer to avoid the conflict.

You make a mistake, you own up to it-- even if it's a technical issue. Not get into a fight with your party.

I'm just raising an eyebrow at why you caused a fuss about Esuna when the fault lies with your faulty controller. If I were in that situation I would've simply been honest about it and respawned (if no incoming raise soon) to avoid weakness since it's the first trash mob of the raid.

Wasn't a situation that warranted an argument.

Sometimes I read these and have to wonder about something.

Everyone tries their best to portray themselves positively even if it's unconscious, tiny changes in wording. If this is the version of events that portrays the OP in the best possible light what did the real situation feel like?

I hope you learned from this, OP. It's a lot better of a look to just own your mistakes. If that had gone the same way with me I would have fessed up and probably gotten a couple comms out of it to boot.

The question before every argument should be "how much harm was done and is it worse to raise a fuss over it?"

As far as I see it: You got yourself killed [by your own (hardware) fault]. While the healer probably could have saved you, you got immediately resurrected, the party didn't wiped and I guess everything else went smooth too, without much setback for the alliance by the few seconds you were bounding with the floor. So the answer should be: "No harm was done and it was not worse to raise a fuss over it". But while you raised a fuss regardless, the group probably got annoyed and decided to kick you.

There wouldn't be any real point to reporting, as the kick was deserved. You should never have made such a huge mountain out of the molehill that was a single death.

You made a mistake, and then they made a mistake. You admittedly didn't tell them about your glitchy controller, so they had no reason to believe it was anything but human error. You escalated a situation that didn't need to be escalated, especially since a single death in a group of 24 is irrelevant.

I'm sorry No one likes to be kicked, but yeah it's a 24 man and you made a booboo laugh it off and get up from the floor. Poking the heals with sharp stick never really helps the situation.

You picked a fight and you are mad someone finished it? Sorry, but that's not how things work. If you don't want people salty with you, then don't be salty with them first.
