Lotta single digit postcount people coming in to complain... amazing how they figured out where the forums general chat were before reading the announcements in the launcher OR the posts from the devs about the maintenance.
Ikr? Suddenly they know where to complain about it. Suddenly, they finally start looking at the notices on the launcher. Suddenly, it's SE's fault for not writing in huge ass letters when it's maintenance.
A lot of suddenly stuff that could've been avoided if they took a couple a minutes to read the news section in the main site once in a while instead on the day things finally happen.
People slay me when they play mmos and act like they're never supposed to go down for maintenance.
The announcements are there, sometimes even when you log on and have to go through a nice big ol' screen of "Hey guys game's gonna be down for some time." How people miss it and then cry make me wonder how we even play the same game.
lol these forum snobs knockin' ppl for using forums when they have questions or comments. Do ya'll have forum tattoos, too? Like the early players? I want one!
Because there were announcements on lodestone, purple text in the chat, and on the launcher. You would actually have to not pay attention to those at all and clickclickclick gotta log in, no time to pause and look at anything else to not see them.
This is not a new concept for mmos either.
See it's posts like these that make me realise that people don't pay attention to anything until it affects them right then.
They gotta start to complain somewhere!
And if they just now learn the the lodestone is a thing? That's fine. People who aren't active in other aspects of the game generally lack the knowledge about these things, so future downtimes shouldn't be an issue for those coming in now.
