Fair enough...I couldn't test it because I currently don't have an alt that can unlock those things.
Also, found where I remembered the information I mentioned above. Was pretty sure it was here on the forumns.

1.) it is indeed against the rules.
2.) i have not lied in any of my comments. they specifically told me a warning issued, and any further offenses will be punished.
3.) simply put, there's no reason why we shouldn't try to prevent this behavior. regardless of what people are thinking, calling me a liar or saying it isn't against the rules. the behavior should indeed be prevented.
1. No it's not.
2. Is a lie because they will never *ever* tell you if someone has been disciplined. You claiming they did is a lie.
Yeah I remembered it being mentioned in another thread but hadn't thought to check as I wasn't in game at the time. Since I am now though I decided to give a quick look-see and sure enough Alliance is unlocked even though I have never done any 24 man, only unlocked the first in ARR and HW.
it doesn't matter what anyone says, it will never change the response i received.
and, yes... it IS against the rules. just forget it... they may as well just ban me. people got to act all rude and profound. i didn't do anything wrong here, and was just trying to point out how people are abusing the Alliance Raid Roulette. it is wrong and is disruptive to other players. it should be stopped, that is all there is to it.
I might be in the wrong here, but isn't the main point of roulettes to ensure that new players are able to find parties for old content they need to clear? The main problem isn't that doing roulette doesn't give you the duty you want, it's that you could have a hard time finding a party for unpopular content even if you queue for it specifically.
Either way, I don't know how big of an issue it currently is and I don't think it matters whether it's against the ToS. If at some point, players become unable to clear content because everyone is cheating the duty finder, they'll fix it. Otherwise, I don't think they care.
I'll admit I didn't actually check whether the roulette was available when I only had Labyrinth unlocked, because I knew leveling roulette didn't unlock until you had two options, and that's logical. But perhaps the underlying rules just unlock the roulette at a designated level, and for leveling it's the Lv16 requirement that ensures you have at least two options before you can run it.
Another alliance raid can always be formed. Perhaps they should fix the problem at the root and lower the max ilv cap so that they wouldn't be the faceroll that they are currently.
Do players not understanding mechanics or their job go against the ToS as being disruptive or obstruction? Cuz I'd love to see people try to report for that lol...
Also, the GM reports specifically tell you you will not get a response on the actions taken. If you did get a response, it was out of their usual procedures. You can always take a screenshot and post it for proof :p
It'd be very hard for someone still levelling up their alt classes if a strict minimum ilvl based on your highest class was involved.
