delay shadow bringers

you know as much as I would love to see a new healer I think the request of the OP is not reasonable. you think all the people who pre-ordered that actually already paid will be happy with this? I think not

Do not agree with this expect the release date to happen as previously mentioned by the director and after the adjustments to meet everyone expectations.

That IS selfish. Asking a company to delay for a YEAR because a minority didn't get the role they want is the absolute definition of selfishness. Why should we all suffer because someone didn't get a new toy?

The entitlement of a lot of people on these forums is shocking to be honest. DELAY THE GAME BECAUSE I WANT A NEW HEALER. UNSUB BECAUSE I WANT MALE BUNNY AND FEMALE RONSO HROTHGAR.

Grow up a little maybe? There will still be plenty to the expansion besides those things. Do we NEED a new healer? The ones we have are fine. Do you all want them to keep spitting out more and more jobs when it's not necessary? You hyped yourselves up for new healers, and male Veira. They never promised either. Expect the unexpected and you will never be surprised. Go in with no expectations and you will not be disappointed. I'm hyped for the new content and areas to explore. Sure, voice your opinions, maybe they will patch in the things you want later. All the different versions of the same topic and you making demands like this is just sad though. Voice your disappointment and move on.

While I don't agree with the OP's reasoning at all, I AM worried that Shadowbringers might not be ready to release in 3 months, or at least not how it was envisioned by the dev team.

I mean come on, did they really say tune in to the Japanese Fan Fest to find out about male Viera, only to say they weren't in the game? Why not announce that right away? Why couldn't they have shown off a picture of a plant 8 months ago when they first announced the new raid? Why is one of the new areas straight up just Limsa with event-tier decorations on top?

That plus the off-hand comments about "having to do all this in 3 months"... I suspect there's a lot of content that'll be left on the cutting room floor by the time the expansion comes out.

Because they didn't? They only showed Viera, and didn't say about about male Viera being revealed at the Tokyo Fan Fest. The part of the playerbase that wanted male Viera assumed that they'd be revealing male Viera at that point.

Because the new raid is closely tied to where it takes place, and they wanted to mention something about it as they showed the picture. They couldn't have done so in the previous Fan Fest because they didn't want to mention about the new location being The First. (Which I actually liked, because I enjoyed speculating about the info released during the first and second Fan Fest).
The same goes for Limsa, it was to show that the different Reflections share similarities with the Source, while still not being exactly the same.

I'm guessing you watched the stream without English commentary? Because Koji's commentary was pretty clear on the above two things.

I'd imagine that's mostly just them commenting about the fact that crunch time is coming, a time with a lot of workload that happens right before a game's release, which isn't all that rare.
